NVM 6.01 firmware includes the following fixes or updates: - Allow DCB configuration when LLDP is disabled. - Allow DCB configuration in ESX 6.0 and 6.5 when running with native mode i4en driver. - Allow software DCB configuration at link up when DCBX is disabled. - Add NCSI 1.1 support for adapters with NCSI support. - Add 25G Active Optical Cable support for XXV710 adapter. - Add link_type on Get_link_status_response query. - Support direct NVM update from any of 4.53, 5.04, or 5.05 NVM level to current 6.01 level. - Prevent dropped RX packets in PXE mode. - 1.1824.0 PREBOOT supports VLAN ID setting for Legacy PXE. 2) X722 products are updated to NVM 3.3x level with PREBOOT 1.1824.0. NVM 3.3x includes the following fixes or updates: - Multiple fixes to maintain or resume proper 10G SFP+ link connections or link status during operation or during and after a DC power cycle or an AC power cycle. - Add fix to allow proper identification and link status for each 10G SFP+ port when an optical transceiver or a DAC cable is unplugged or replugged. - 1.1824 PREBOOT supports VLAN ID setting for Legacy PXE. 3) For all of I340, I350, X520, X540, and X550 products, this release provides PREBOOT update to current 1.1824.0 level. 4) For all products, the UEFI drivers from new PREBOOT 1.1824.0 adds the VLAN ID setting for Legacy PXE. 5) When this FW update package is used as out-of-band update for a VMware system, please pick up latest Intel VMware Native Mode drivers that come with Lenovo 22.9 SW release. 2.0 Web Sites and Support Phone Number ______________________________________ o You can download new and updated files for Lenovo products from the Lenovo Web site: http://datacentersupport.lenovo.com/ o With the original purchase of an Lenovo hardware product, you have access to extensive support coverage.
